There are many recent examples of unacceptable behaviours by workers within industries. Unacceptable behaviour includes incidents of hate, abuse of power, offensive language, racism, sexism and many more.
Employee Code of Conduct
Within the UK, there is an employee code of conduct within the workplace. From professional ethics, to workplace policies, there is a need for all employees and business leaders to act in ways that avoid unacceptable behaviours towards clients, customers and each other.
This short course will highlight what is unacceptable behaviour within the workplace, and the role of business leaders who must take appropriate action to stop it.
Introduction wording
Hardly a week goes by without the media exposing examples of bad workplace behaviour.
The all too familiar abhorrent stories of individuals in senior positions abusing their power, of vile inuendo from a colleague, of disgusting banter against colleagues, of criminal acts of hate crime directed at colleagues, the list can unfortunately go on and on.
Thank you for taking the time to do this short awareness course which aims to highlight bad and unacceptable behaviours in the workplace of today and hopefully the course will help reduce these bad behaviours in the future.
